Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)
The Nova Scotia Environmental Network (NSEN) believes in fostering a culture of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in everything we do.
We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of their background or identity, feels valued, respected, and empowered.
NSEN is working on supporting EDI by:
Educating the public of environmental equity news in Nova Scotia via our monthly e-newsletters.
Sharing events and resources for marginalized communities on behalf of our member organizations.
Honour the vital role that the Mi'kmaq play in environmental stewardship in NS by offering free membership to Mi'kmaw organizations.
Encouraging the growth of an inclusive community that thrives on the strengths of its diverse perspectives.
Welcoming everyone to join our network regardless of their background or identity.
