History of NSEN

NSEN has been supporting Nova Scotia’s environmental non-profit community since its founding in 1991. With over three decades of rich history, our team has worked to bring forward some important stories and insights to benefit today’s environmental movement.

In 2021-2022, the NSEN team produced a 1-hour documentary to help educate the public on the historical and continued importance of communication and collaboration in Nova Scotia’s environmental movement. To tell this story, we interviewed 10 leaders who helped shape NSEN since its founding.
